Skirt conveyor belts are divided into two types: conveyor belts with skirts and clapboards and conveyor belts with skirts and no clapboards.
The skirt conveyor belt is also called the large inclination conveyor belt, which consists of three parts: the base belt, the ribs and the transverse partition. | Conveyor belt without baffle on skirt is composed of base belt and sidewall. |
The ribs play the role of preventing the material from slipping and falling. In order to easily bypass the drum, the ribs are designed to be corrugated; the transversal partitions are used to support the material. In order to realize the large inclination conveying, the T-type TC type is adopted. The ribs and the diaphragm are connected to the base belt by a secondary vulcanization method, which has a high connection strength.
